Rent a storage unit, delivered to your door

There are a few situations where customers consistently choose a unit. Storing your household contents in a unit bridges that gap without rushed solutions — some people call this a moving container, and that's exactly what it is: a container placed at your door, filled, and collected again. Next: a renovation that makes the living room, bedroom or entire ground floor unusable. We pick everything up before the contractor starts and bring it back once the dust has settled. Seasonal items are the third large group: garden furniture and patio sets filling the shed in winter, ski and camping gear in the way for the rest of the year. Instead of storing that somewhere year-round, you have it collected and it comes back when the season starts. Businesses show the same pattern: stock that peaks, archives that must be kept, materials or terrace furniture that only take up space out of season. And finally household goods with nowhere to go temporarily — during a temporary stay elsewhere, when downsizing, or when merging two households and duplicate items need to go aside for a while.

Many people searching for a garage box or a box to rent are simply looking for space. The difference then comes down to who arranges the transport. With a garage box you rent a fixed space at a site. You usually have your own lock and key and can often come and go yourself, but you also have to get there: rent or borrow a van, load, drive, unload — and do it all again when you collect it. Add the fuel, the van rental and half a day or a full day of your time. With us the truck drives to your address, and depending on your service package we do the carrying too. Third difference: the term. With us you rent from 1 month and cancel monthly; a fixed storage space more often comes with longer contracts. To be fair about where a garage box does win: if you need to get in and out very often. Our facility in Gouda is accessible by appointment, not somewhere you swing by to grab something. If you need weekly access to tools or stock, a fixed box is probably more practical. If it's about things that can be away for a while — and for most people that's the case — the unit saves you the entire transport leg.

We don't pack for you; (dis)assembly and wrapping large furniture can be bought as extras. On the agreed day we pull up — ideally scheduled at least 14 days ahead, and the date is locked after your first payment. The unit is filled at your address, sealed and travels closed to Gouda. There it stays climate-controlled until you want it back. Rates start at €39 per month for X-Small (4–12 m³) and go up to €180 for Large (38–48 m³) with a 12-month commitment; shorter periods are slightly higher. Pickup and return are included with 3 months or longer within the Randstad. We drive throughout the Netherlands and Belgium.
