Our mobile furniture storage brings the storage to you. We come to your door, load your furniture into our truck and store it in our climate-controlled facility in Gouda. Returned on the day you want, all at once or in stages. From €39 per month, cancellable monthly, with the option to add extra cover for valuable pieces.
There are a few situations where people consistently come to us. Most common: a renovation that makes the living room, bedroom or entire ground floor unlivable. Instead of storing furniture with family or under a tarp, we pick it up before the contractor starts and return it once the dust has settled. Next: moving between two homes — key to the old place already handed in, the new place not available for another two months. Furniture goes into storage with us, you bridge the gap without rushed solutions. Downsizing falls into the same category: your new apartment is smaller than the house you're leaving, but you don't want to part with certain pieces — store them with us until you know what fits. Finally: living elsewhere temporarily (expat year, sabbatical, care for family), or merging households where duplicate items need to go aside for a while. From a leather sofa, oak dining table, bookcases, mattresses or mirrors to a complete household inventory — individual pieces and entire homes, we store them all. For all these scenarios the proposition is the same: no yearly contract, no driving yourself, cancellable the moment you want your furniture back.
Our mobile furniture storage revolves around one principle: we come to you, you don't have to go to a storage warehouse. You request a quote online or by phone — enter your postcode and see an indication of costs within 60 seconds. On the agreed pickup day we arrive with a truck. Depending on your service package we send 1 driver (curbside — items ready at the tailgate) or 2 team members (Premium — we carry things out of the house and arrange the unit properly). Furniture is covered with blankets and secured with straps for transport. At our facility in Gouda your furniture is then stored in a climate-controlled environment until you want it back. Rates start at €39 per month for X-Small (4–12 m³) and go up to €180 for Large (38–48 m³) with a 12-month commitment; shorter periods are slightly higher. Pickup and return are included with 3 months or longer within the Randstad. Everything cancellable monthly — no annual contracts, no penalties if you want your furniture back sooner.
Our facility in Gouda is climate-controlled: temperature between 15 and 22 °C and humidity below 60%. Those are the conditions where wood doesn't warp, leather doesn't dry out, fabric doesn't mold and electronics don't get condensation. Access is by appointment only; the entire facility is under 24/7 camera surveillance and alarm. During pickup your furniture is covered with blankets and secured with straps — for large items like mirrors, glass tops or tabletops we add extra protection. Your unit is ready for you by default; for larger volumes we combine or add units. For valuable contents (total >€2,500, or individual items >€500) you can add the Zekerheidspakket at the quote stage — additional cover for transport and storage, with the insured amount set by you. Antiques, art or other fragile pieces you flag at the request stage; we then plan extra packaging materials and, where needed, separate handling so you get them back in the same condition.
