Statiegeld Nederland's bulk deposit-return machine BS Gouda on the Inbox Storage premises at Antwerpseweg 2 in Gouda

Since March 2026: bulk deposit machine on our Gouda hub.

At Antwerpseweg 2 in Gouda — on the grounds of Inbox Storage — you'll find the second bulk deposit-return machine in the Netherlands, live since 20 March 2026. Local residents drop off a whole bag of plastic bottles and cans in one go, 100+ per minute. A partnership with Statiegeld Nederland that puts our hub infrastructure to sustainable use.

THE BULK MACHINE AT A GLANCE.

Statiegeld Nederland runs the Dutch national deposit-return scheme for plastic bottles and cans. In March 2026 the country's second bulk machine — after Bleiswijk — opened at our Gouda location. No more inserting bottles one by one: drop a whole bag in the bulk machine in one go. It processes more than 100 packages per minute. Below: what it is, how it works, and why it's at our hub.

1. WHAT IS THE BULK DEPOSIT MACHINE?

An industrial sorting and intake machine where you drop a whole bag of plastic deposit bottles and cans in one go. It counts, scans and processes more than 100 packages per minute. No more queues, no more receipt per bottle — just open the bag and let it run.

2. WHERE AND WHEN.

Open since 20 March 2026 at Antwerpseweg 2 in Gouda (Goudse Poort area), on the Inbox Storage grounds. Hours: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 to 20:00. Even with bigger batches — a whole birthday party, office clear-out or event leftovers — you're done in a few minutes.

3. HOW YOU GET YOUR DEPOSIT BACK.

Two options: get the deposit refunded directly via Tikkie to your bank account, or donate it to KiKa — the Dutch children's cancer charity. Both are done in a few taps on the screen next to the machine. No paper receipts to redeem at a shop later.

4. WHY ON OUR HUB.

Our Gouda location has space alongside the mobile storage units for industrial installations that need to handle volume. Central in the Netherlands, right by the A12 motorway, with the access Statiegeld Nederland and their operators need for transport routes. For us it means: our infrastructure isn't just serving customer storage — it's also serving projects that contribute to a circular economy.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU AS A CUSTOMER?

For consumers and businesses storing with Inbox: you know our hub is active infrastructure, not just a warehouse. For business customers with industrial needs — sorting installations, production stock, machines that need space — we've got the location and the experience to think beyond standard storage units. And for anyone nearby: drop by, return your bottles, and see what sustainable partnership looks like in practice.
