FROM ONE FESTIVAL TO THE NEXT.
A festival weekend lasts three days, build-up takes a week, breakdown two more — and then: everything off, everything in transport, everything heading to the next location. Spieriewierie supplies wellness areas (saunas, hot tubs, lounges, complete wellness zones) at major Dutch and international festivals. Between events the units sit at our Gouda hub — climate-controlled, secured, ready for the next job. We've been doing this for Spieriewierie since summer 2022, and below we explain why event logistics fit our hub.
1. THE FESTIVAL LOGISTICS.
Festival units differ from regular storage items: large, heavy, often wet after an event, with tight deadlines for the next location. After breakdown our drivers come, load the wellness units, and drive them to our hub. For the next festival the same in reverse. No interim rest for the units, but interim rest for Spieriewierie's own team.
2. THE 2026 FESTIVALS.
This year we handle storage for Spieriewierie between five hardcore and EDM events: Defqon.1 (Q-dance), Awakenings, Dominator (Q-dance), Parookaville (Germany) and Decibel outdoor. Between events the units come to us — sometimes four days, sometimes four weeks, depending on the festival calendar.
3. WHY AN EVENT SUPPLIER CHOOSES US.
Renting your own warehouse for festival units means paying 12 months a year for something you use only a few. Plus: that warehouse needs to be big (enough for all units), accessible (drivers in and out), and secured (insurance). With us Spieriewierie only pays for the m³ and months actually used — no fixed overhead, no maintenance worries, and hub logistics (trucks in and out) sorted on our grounds.
4. WHY WE TAKE ON EVENT PROJECTS.
Events are like hospitality for us: recurring, predictable volume per season. Unlike one-off customers we know all year when a Spieriewierie truck arrives or leaves. That brings planning certainty to our hub capacity. And event parties demand pace, reliability and weather-resistance — which matches what our infrastructure and team are already good at delivering.
